Felix W. Cook, Sr. has served on Community First Foundation’s board of directors since February 2005.

Currently retired, Cook served as director of the Bureau of Reclamation’s Technical Service Center from 1992 – 1999, an 800-person organization responsible for the agency design, research and dam safety programs.

Cook received his M.P.A. from the University of Denver and B.S. in electrical engineering from Southern University in Baton Rouge, LA.

As a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Colorado, Cook was appointed by the Governor of Colorado to the Colorado State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Professional Land Surveyors in 1984. He was reappointed in 1988 and served as chairman of the board from 1988 – 1989.
