Supplemental Endowment Challenge Grants 2007 Participants
Description
In the spirit of our Nonprofit Preservation Initiative, Community First Foundation has committed $500,000 for Supplemental Endowment Challenge Grants 2007, a grant opportunity designed exclusively for organizations who participated in Endowment Challenge Grants 2004.
The Foundation developed this grant opportunity to extend additional support for building endowments, and to strengthen the long-term financial stability of the 2004 participants. The grant initiates a new Challenge Grant Period in which the Foundation will match 50 cents for each dollar added to the participants’ existing endowment fund.
Twenty-three organizations are participating in the grant opportunity.
Purpose
To re-ignite the growth of endowments and garner new support for the future of the participating organizations.
Application Deadline
Closed September 28, 2007.
Eligibility
Endowment Challenge Grants 2004 participants.
Challenge Grant Period
Date of acceptance letter and ending on June 30, 2009.
Matching Grant Maximum
A maximum of $20,000 will be considered per organization.
