Community First Foundation:

Supporting a Hospital and Maintaining A Heritage of Community Service

Exempla Lutheran Medical Center, our founder, is a beneficiary of Community First Foundation. It is from Exempla Lutheran Medical Center, and its forebears, that we derive our heritage of service to the community and role as steward of the assets it manages for the benefit of the community.

Since our founding in 1975, Community First Foundation (formerly know as LMC Community Foundation) has functioned as the philanthropic arm of Exempla Lutheran Medical Center. We facilitate connections to the community to help advance their mission to promote health and healing. We also work with physicians and staff, helping them to become Foundation donors on behalf of the hospital of which they are a part.
