Community First Foundation is the fund-raising arm of our namesake – Lutheran Medical Center. Today, Exempla Lutheran Medical Center (ELMC) remains a beneficiary of the Foundation.

In 2005, more than $3,265,254 was granted to ELMC to support programs and services. Highlights include:

Community First Foundation provides nonprofit organizations the opportunity to establish an endowment fund at the Foundation. By doing this, the organization demonstrates long-term planning of its financial resources and helps assure its operational viability. In 2005, over three dozen nonprofits held more than 40 separate endowments at the Foundation.
