Financials: Overview

Community First Foundation promotes acts of giving by providing donors with strategies and tools to achieve their charitable goals. As stewards of our donors' assets, we seek to wisely invest and effectively distribute these assets back into the metropolitan Denver community. In this section you will find financial information about our organization that supports this goal.

Management of funds at the Foundation is overseen by experienced staff and a finance and investment committee of the Foundation's board of directors. In addition, an independent audit committee employs an independent accounting firm to provide an annual financial audit. We are pleased to announce that our assets total $44 million (as of Dec. 31, 2008), and we have returned more than $37 million to the community since our founding in 1975.
