Nonprofit Community

Dear Partners,

 

It is an honor to join the remarkable team at Community First Foundation! Having worked in the nonprofit sector for the past three years as an executive director, I come to the Foundation with an incredible appreciation for the difference the nonprofit sector makes, and an understanding of the great work yet to be accomplished. The vision for Community First Foundation to support nonprofits in the metropolitan Denver area is compelling. 

 

I am especially looking forward to supporting the Foundation’s mission as it continues to focus on nonprofit preservation. The Nonprofit Preservation Initiative is comprised of a variety of programs and services, such as Endowment Challenge Grants, a web-based donor tool called GivingFirst, and nonprofit partner back office services. 

 

This year we have seen significant growth and excitement in GivingFirst, which now showcases 175 local nonprofits. We believe this innovative program will encourage philanthropy, recognize the good work of local nonprofits and strengthen the nonprofit sector.
