Ken has been president and CEO of the Foundation since 1987 and served on the board since 1997. He has more than 30 years of experience in higher education, as both a faculty member and administrator. He periodically participates as a faculty member for the nonprofit management degree program at Regis University and healthcare management at the University of Denver, University College.

Ken holds a master’s degree in counseling from Kent State University and a doctorate in Adult and Continuing Education from the University of Nebraska. He is also a Certified Fund-Raising Executive.
