A Bigger, Better Black Friday

2020 has been a challenging year, to say the least. Since we are already living in what sometimes feels like the “Upside Down”, why not shake up our routine a bit more and give instead of buy this Black Friday.

The extra money we spend on Black Friday could go a long way to help a local nonprofit.  Consider using part of your Black Friday budget to donate to one of the 2,900 nonprofits on ColoradoGives.org, or purchase a Giving Card as a gift and let loved ones choose to donate to causes they care about. Many nonprofits “sell” items as part of their fundraising efforts that might make great gifts.

Another way to support small businesses this Black Friday is to donate to organizations that support small businesses. Here are two great organizations on ColoradoGives.org.

  • Good Business Colorado is a grassroots organization that brings ethical business leaders together to formulate and advocate for policies that will have a positive net impact on their employees, communities and the state.
  • The Colorado Business Development Foundation supports small business resources across Colorado by providing financial support and resources to help entrepreneurs start and grow existing and new businesses. Donation directly affect economic impact in the form of business starts, loans obtained, capital formation and more.

Donate now by visiting ColoradoGives.org . Just type the organization name into the name search, and in the search results page click the donate button on their name/logo.
