Coloradans show generosity and compassion by giving more than $1.3 million to support local nonprofits

ARVADA, Colo. (May 5, 2020) – More than $1.3mil was donated to Colorado nonprofits on #GivingTuesdayNow. 9,500+ Coloradans made a donation on May 5 to local nonprofits through ColoradoGives.org.

#GivingTuesdayNow, an international day of giving and unity supporting the emergency response to and the unprecedented needs caused by COVID-19 as a way to drive generosity among individuals, businesses and philanthropic organizations, as well as show civic engagement in support of communities and nonprofits around Colorado and the world.

Community First Foundation powered the day of giving through its secure giving platform,ColoradoGives.org. Donors can still find direct links to many local relief funds, including Help Colorado Now, Community First Foundation Jeffco Hope Fund and thousands of Colorado nonprofits.
